KANANI KANALANI
DIGITAL PRINT
Unified by threes this work provides the viewer with a joyous narrative of the native Hawaiian Hula. Three Hula dancers are seen with outstretched and postured arms, beautifully capturing the rhythm of dance. The added fluidity of the dancers are exemplified in the curvature of the physical forms, their grass skirts and the water seated behind them. The use of simple colors create a safe place visually for the viewer to absorb the spirit of Kanani kanalani.
