Keahou surf
It’s not even particularly known as a good spot, and yet it still draws an unbelievable amount of people. Since I had free time, I decided to come and see for myself, but… As expected, just like with the previous sport, there were some pretty amazing guys here. To think that there would be more than ten people out here capable of surfing on a day like this.
The waves are still pretty big, though it’s lucky that I don’t have to worry about getting smashed against the rocks or carried away by the tide since I’m not surfing. The thought of getting swept away seriously scares me.

Ikebana series #4
This painting was done after I read a book about how to arrange flowers in Japanese-style. I really like the rustic feel of this painting because the materials used in the arrangement are not ordered, but instead just thrown together in an unsystematic way that echoes my own feeling when arranging flowers.
