This is a plant of Coffea Arabica, the species that produces Kona coffee. It’s a deciduous shrub and it can grow into fairly large trees in good conditions. The flowers look like little white star-shaped pom-poms. They’re quite fragrant.

Bromeliad ocean view from Maui
It is usually thought to be a houseplant, but it caught my eye in the midst of tropical flowers such as orchids and other colorful Hawaiian flowers!
