Quartet is a work with four different seashells, all of which are in the shape of a hemisphere. Depending on the angle from which they’re viewed, each has a subtly different appearance. A unique feature about this artwork is that it can be viewed from three angles: front and right- and left-facing views. Each seashell has a different structure, color, and feel to it. A tiny mirror was used for the seashell on the right side of the artwork in order to give it an overwhelming shine. This is part of what gives the piece its allure.
