St. Barthelemy palms
Is a piece of painting done for my Ikebana series.
It is a painting of the palms in St. Barthelemy
The tree has many stories to tell, starting with the fact that it carries its own waterfall in between its leaves
I was struck by its beautiful forms which are full of life and vigour at the same time. I could not resist the temptation to express the beauty of this tree in a painting

The exhibition featured works done by artists who had been influenced by Fauvism or Cubism. These are styles that arose in France during a short period around the turn of…
Tileaf with forest
Thus painting brings about the best representation of the silent and calm rainforest canopies; a home of thousands and thousands of organisms that make life inhabistable on earth. This is a perfect fit on the living room as we uncover the different wonders of nature
