A view from Maui
The painting of this series is dedicated to the island of Maui, which I visited on my last trip to Hawaii. The island has a lush vegetation with many colorful flowers and fruit trees. It’s an island far away from any big towns or industrial areas, that gives you back all the time you spent on travelling there.
A creation that unfolds
This series shows a view from a beach on Maui. The flower arrangements reflect the popular Ikebana flower style of Japan, while new shapes and colors are added to the traditional base.
