Homage Da Vinci #2
The Ikebana series is an art project started by Japanese artist Maki Kawakita. She has been presenting her own versions of ‘Color Theory & Mona Lisa’ in which she paints over the original da Vinci’s masterpiece with traditional Japanese patterns. The result is absolutely stunning and breath-taking. Now, recently, she did the same thing but with the paintings of renowned Japanese Ukiyo-e artist Utagawa Kuniyoshi.
