This ikebana was made from a single white gerbera.
It is a relatively simple ikebana, but the long stem and the linear flowers give it a great volume not to mention how beautifully it’s detailed leaves show off against the backdrop of nature behind my window! It makes for a very elegant yet lush-feeling display.
It has an almost 3D feeling to it. I’m sure many of you have seen this style of ikebana before, but have any of you actually tried doing something like this?
