CLOUDSCAPE #12
Oil on Canvas, Impressionism, Ethereal
What should have felt like an eternity was just a moment, and I found myself peeling my eyes open. The feeling that should have been heaven gave way to reality as my legs fell out from beneath me. My body tried to awaken, but could not seem to shake off the magic of the view before me. Instead it sat me down on a mossy rock and had me stare.
What is depicted in the art is what only one could describe as a heaven of blue with tints of yellow. It was if floating above the clouds was possible and I was doing just that. It seemed as if I could have reached out and touched the real clouds in front of me. It was the feeling of freedom and euphoria.

I was waking into another world that had always been there – I just hadn’t seen it till now. Until the moon shined in this exact place. For the first time I felt like home. All this was within my reach, the…
