This Kusamono (miniature decorative arrangement) was inspired by the passing of my grandmother.
My mother wanted to visit her grave one last time before it closed for winter, and asked if I could create something that would brighten up her dark surroundings for this occasion.
The simplicity and beauty of bonsai, but we do not have the luxury of time or space to grow and care for such a project. Kusamono would be an ideal alternative as they require less care and can be enjoyed indoors.
